Transpetation

One of our most popular services, and the ultimate in convenience, is dog Trans-PET-ation, our pet taxi service. Dog Days Daycare Center staff will pick up and/or drop off your dog for complete door-to-door service.

Your dog will ride in climate-controlled, secure comfort to or from the Daycare Center. To ensure the safety of our driver and your pet, dogs will be crated or restrained during trans-PET-ation.

As a special accommodation, we will also transPET your dog to and/or from scheduled appointments. So, if your dog has an appointment, with the vet for instance, we’ll be glad to take him for you!

The cost is $15 per one-way trip, and sit-&-stay (wait) time is charged in 15-minute increments (or any portion thereof).

Example 1

Every Tuesday you have a twelve-hour work-day and need us to pick up Rover from home at 6:30 in the morning and bring him back home at 4:00 when your daughter gets home from school. The trans-PETation cost every Tuesday is $30 ($15 per one-way trip x 2 trips).

Example 2

You don’t have a minute to spare in the morning and know only that you’ll finally get home for the day sometime between 6:00 and 6:30 Monday through Friday. We’ll pick up Rover from home at 7:00 a.m. and you pick him up from daycare by 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Trans-PET-ation cost for the week (Monday through Friday) is $75 ($15 per one-way trip x 5 days).

Example 3

Rover has an 11:00 a.m. appointment with the vet. Because the vet’s office is so busy, Rover doesn’t get in to see the vet until 11:20. Total cost of trans-PETation service for this appointment is $60 … $15 per one-way trip ($30) plus $30 for twenty minutes of sit-&-stay time (two 15 minute increments x $15).

Trans-PET-ation rates are only valid within a ten-mile radius of Dog Days Daycare Center. Travel beyond the 10 mile radius will be an additional $2 per mile.

If we attempt to pick up or drop off your dog at the designated time and you are not available, the sit-&-stay rate of $15 per 15-minute increment will apply.
