Join Trainer & Behaviorist Jeannette Rybak on Sunday, October 11th at 10:00 AM for a fun and enriching social walk at Hacklebarney State Park!
We’ll be hitting the Riverside Trail for approximately 2.5 miles—a great opportunity for both humans and pups to get some exercise, enjoy the outdoors, and have some fun together!
Properly vaccinated pups 6 months and older are invited to join us. This Trainer-Led Social Walk is designed to combine exercise, enrichment, and positive socialization in a structured and supportive environment.
With Jeannette guiding the group, your pup will have the opportunity to: Practice polite leash skills Improve focus around distractions Learn to safely interact with other dogs Build confidence in a new environment Enjoy some quality outdoor time with their humans!
Meet in the parking area by 9:45 AM so we can get everyone organized and start our walk promptly at 10:00 AM.
What to Bring
• Hiking shoes for owners — this is a hike, so please come prepared!
• A harness for your pup — one that can get wet if your dog wants to take a dip!
• Both a long and short leash
• Bug spray
• Snacks and plenty of water for both you and your pup
• A backpack for carrying your dog if needed
A Few Important Notes
Dogs should be healthy and physically able to comfortably complete the hike. Dogs with hip or leg issues, or breeds that may have difficulty with a 2.5-mile hike (such as pugs), should only participate if they can be carried in a backpack when needed.
