Recall Training Class
Recall is extremely helpful in many everyday situations. The recall can avoid and defuse conflicts that threaten to arise between your dog and other four-legged friends, other people or yourself, and all sorts of dangerous situations. Owners and their pups will meet in the Ruff House (the big building in the back of the property) for 3, one and a half hour sessions – one session each day.

Duke Island Social Walk
Join trainer and behaviorist Jeannette Rybak on Saturday, June 20th form 9am to 10:30am for a social walk at Duke Island Park to the waterfall. With a certified trainer guiding the group, your dog will learn polite leash skills, improve focus around distractions, and interact safely with other dogs in a structured and supportive environment.

Puppy Playgroup
Focus will be on guiding puppies to properly interact and play with others. Properly socialized puppies grow into well-rounded adult dogs who know how to properly act around other dogs and humans alike. Play sessions are limited to a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 puppies, with a minimum age of 3 months and maximum age of 6 months.

Leash Training Class
This 6-week intensive program focuses on exercises that are designed to not only teach your dog to walk next to you, but also how to practice impulse control and calm down in order to get to the root of the leash walking problem. We will start the training here on the grounds of Dog Days and then work up to meeting off our property to put the dogs in different scenarios with different distractions.

Adolescent Training Class
We are pleased to announce training classes with a focus on adolescents and young adult dogs every Saturday from May 9 to June 13.This program is a major commitment on your part to help make your dog the best companion he/she can be. Attendance at all 6 classes is important and required as we will be building on the learned skills from the week before.
